OVERVIEW
Since 2013, the "Golden Visa Spain" Law has permitted non-EU individuals to seek out Residency by Investment and offers free Schengen travel. The Golden Visa Spain applies to the individual as well as their spouse and children. There are a few limitations. For example, Residency by investment won't allow free healthcare, education, or similar benefits that EU citizens enjoy. Private international health insurance is a great alternative and some European universities offer free education. With that in mind, those with a Golden Visa Spain residency permit must be able to prove that they are financially stable.
